In 1987 the Anderson Family created Star Trax Celebrity Coaches which was a premier custom coach maker. The family’s impressive list of clients include Will Smith, Vin Diesel, Brad Pitt, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jim Carrey, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford, Adam Sandler, Ice Cube, Charlie Sheen, Sylvester Stallone, Whitney Houston, Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, Penny Marshall, Micky Rourke, Shakira, New Kids on the Block, Clint Black, Oscar De La Hoya, and Former President Bill Clinton… to name a few.
In July 1999 after selling Star Trax Celebrity Coaches, the Anderson Family took a year off to sail around the globe.
While at sea, they finalized the concept of a two-story expanding mobile trailer equipped with “yacht like” qualities and luxuries. It would be marketed to individuals with fine taste and those seeking remote on-location trailers.
Upon returning to the United States, they created Anderson Mobile Estates to develop the two-story trailer concept. Not long after, the Anderson Family obtained patents for the design and built a prototype, which eventually became The Studio Mobile Estate, which was later sold to A-List Actor Will Smith.
